5Apartment 21G is a superb 3 bedroom 2 – bathroom Ocean front property in a superb location overlooking the sea. This property has been the subject of extensive modernisation and is now a very modern and superbly equipped unit.
From the good sized balcony overlooking the rocky part of the beach and promenade lined with palm trees, there are wonderful views to the Black Rock (Rochas Negras) and out to open sea. As the property overlooks the Atlantic there is nearly always a perpetual breeze.
This first floor accommodation is reached via easy rise steps to the front door from where the spacious hallway leads to all rooms. There are two twin bedded room (each bedroom are being fitted with air con in 2026), fitted wardrobes serviced by a full bathroom off the hallway. The master bedroom has a large bed, fitted wardrobes and a superb well appointed shower room en-suite. Patio doors open onto the balcony.
From the superb kitchen with full cooker, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and all the usual utensils, there are views to the sea; one can stand at the hob and look out to sea!
The large lounge/dining room has comfortable seating, dining table and chairs for 4+ people, internet driven TV with a range of channels. Air conditioning /heater. From here, patio doors also lead onto the superb balcony overlooking the sea that is ideal for alfresco dining or that well-earned drink. An assortment of outside furniture is provided for al-fresco dining and sunbathing. There is also a log burner making it suitable for winter rents.
The accommodation does not have pool facilities included, but with the beach and its attractions being 'on the doorstep', it has proven to be an excellent choice for both families and couples alike. WIFI included. The main bedroom has air conditioning unit (heating also).

We had a wonderful holiday in Luz. In the dreamlike apartment we felt comfortable from the first moment. The apartment is large and furnished exactly as in the pictures. I have never had a kitchen with such good equipment. Everything was simply available. The two bathrooms are also an absolute plus if you are traveling with several people. The terrace, with a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean and the palm trees is simply gorgeous. You fall asleep in the evening with the sound of the waves and wake up in the morning with it - simply fantastic and infinitely relaxing. The walk to the beach is very short, so it's not a problem to get home quickly for lunch. There are shops in the immediate vicinity and the restaurants are also within easy reach. Although the apartment is so centrally located, it is quiet in the evenings and at night. Our holiday in the Algarve was also an absolute highlight due to this wonderful apartment and we are all looking forward to coming back.

We spent 5 days over New Year in this great apartment.
It is even better than in the photos. Exceptional setting with gorgeous views over the beach & bay
Shops, beach and restaurants within a short walk.Apartment was very cosy, clean & had everything we needed.
Val is responsive and very friendly, who will be sure to answer any questions you may have.

APRIL 2023 We had an amazing week in this apartment over the Easter holidays. Loved everything about it, the view, the location, the furnishings, the local eatery’s (Real pizza & Puerto Escondido Mexican our favourites), the two beaches on the doorstep (larger one with swings, slide, bucket & spade library from hut, smaller one great for keeping eyes on kids), rock pools abundant we were crabbing most days. Only ten minute drive to Lagos with its beautiful cobbled streets, marina for boat trips and the stunning rock formations at Ponta De Piedade. We loved it. Only consideration if travelling with very small children is you will need to keep an eye on them when on the balcony (I was warned) as the railings are quite far apart. it was fine for us just made sure we were out with them or watching them from inside. The balcony was such an asset with its loungers and table. Had breakfast out there most mornings. Not a bad thing to say about it. Valerie was fantastic helping us with car hire and always on hand when we needed her. We are already planing our next trip!

Family of 4 adults had a wonderful holiday in Apt. 21G in Praia da Luz. The apartment was lovely and spacey with well equipped kitchen. Fantastic seaview from terrasse; and just a short walk to the beach and lots of good restaurants. Also great service from Val and her husband. We would definately book again if we are back in Luz.

June 2021 - Lovely Luz!
We stayed in 21g in June, what a fantastic family apartment, stunning location, right on the seafront,with uninterrupted views of the rocks and the sea. You can go to sleep listening to the waves! It was spacious, modern and comfortable ( the beds were really comfortable!) and convenient for the village and beach. We love Luz and will be back soon!

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. The photo’s do not do it justice and the moment you arrive and open the patio doors to look at the ocean, you are in paradise, drifting off to sleep with the waves on the rocks below. The apartment has everything you need, very well stocked if you choose to cook and you can arrange to have a bottle of wine in the fridge for when you arrive! Extremely comfortable and clean with towels / linen changed regularly.
The walkway you can see in the photos is the main promenade to the beach, bars and restaurants. We were there during the Covid restrictions but felt perfectly safe with all staff completely compliant with the wearing of masks and cleaning between customers. We were a group of 5 with ages from 25 – 60+ and none of us were short of things to do. We saw dolphins and whales, went horse riding, walking – you can be as active (or not) as you want to be.
We did hire a car and explored but could just have easily got the Resort Hoppa and been dropped at the door. You do not need your own transport to get around Luz and if you want to venture further afield, the bus stop is at the top of the road. The supermarket is walkable and stocks everything you need. There are too many good restaurants to mention but if you get the opportunity, be sure to visit Onda Luz. Book in advance – it’s really popular.
Finally, booking with Val is the most pleasant experience. I’ve been hiring villas / apartments for many years with a varying degree of success. The process from start to finish was more like chatting with a friend and she could not have been more accommodating with our numerous requests. Valgarve is not one of the largest companies but don’t be put off by that. What you do get is a personal service from someone who actually cares that you have a good holiday – that’s very rare in this day and age. I would not hesitate to book again and hope to return to 21G next year.

We adored staying in this truly oceanfront unit. The views are stunning, the unit was very clean and pleasingly decorated with tasteful, quality furnishings. The kitchen had everything one needs to prepare meals at home, but there are many good restaurants and beach cafes in Praia da Luz to choose from. Communication with Val of Valgarve Limited it was easy and very pleasant. Check-in was made convenient with a combination door lock. We are very much looking forward to our next and longer stay in this beautiful apartment.

May 2022 This apartment is wonderful ! The location, right by the sea, the view from the balcony, we enjoyed it every day.
It has been renovated to a high standard, new furniture ,new kitchen, new bathrooms.
And restaurants, markets and pubs are all very near, the beach as well.

Christine - 17 May 2022 : Once we had seen the picture of the view, nowhere else would do. Then we arrived and it was true! Amazing quiet, convenient position in an attractive small, low rise resort and bay. Safe swimming, huge sandy beach and more lovely restaurants than expected. The flat was immaculate, very well furnished, with decent linen - changed during our stay - everything you might need in the kitchen and a TV with Sky Sports and all other UK channels! Sitting on the large balcony looking at the sea is bliss and the sound of the waves and the wind in the palm trees quite remarkable. We shall be back.
